For the past few days I've been working on PARTA's trip planner webpage and some ads for the Downtown Akron Partnership and First Night Akron.

Occasionally, when there isn't a photo reference available I need to create one, and even be one. Here's a demonstration of the manly arts of cardboard flattening for the Downtown Akron Partnership's recycling program. And, pizza cutting for the Portion Paddle.

all the young inventors

Along with 2 Downtown Akron Partnership ads, I completed the comic for the 2010 Young Inventors Hall of Fame comic book. I drew this year's on the computer, my mouse finger really hurts now and it's spasming. I need some ibuprofen. I started out drawing, but thought it'd be quicker and easier to make corrections if I drew them in Adobe Illustrator. Below are examples and one of the hand-drawn sketches.

Today, I did a sell-sheet for "The Vyndicator", a remote measuring tool for machine shops. I added a Facebook link on PARTA's website and did some work on this year's Young Inventors comicbook.

The images shown are for METRO's logo for their hybrid buses, the first few were the contenders, and the bottom is the chosen.

This morning I've been laying out a promotional magnetic picture frame, the kind you put on the refrigerator, for the Downtown Akron Partnership. This past summer I also designed their digital billboards, I think 12 in all. They're similar, each just promoting a different downtown business. They can be seen on routes 77 and 8.
